  1. Crispy Potatoes!
First, cut the potatoes into smaller pieces and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes (you can skip this step, but if you take the time to do it, the potatoes will be nicely crispy). Then drain the potatoes and dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Drizzle the potatoes lightly with olive oil (approx. 1 tablespoon), add 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper, oregano and salt. Mix thoroughly and spread them evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper so that they ideally do not overlap. Bake for about 30 minutes, but it depends on how big you cut the potato pieces. Alternatively, leave them in the oven a little longer.
  2. Cook the Meat
Meanwhile, prepare the meat. Finely chop the onion and fry it in a deep pan in 1 tablespoon of oil so that it turns slightly translucent. Then add the minced meat to the pan, lightly salt, pepper and season with dried garlic and a teaspoon of sweet pepper. Fry the meat until golden, during cooking you can break it up a little using a cooker so that you have the meat in smaller pieces. Also prepare the sauce. Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and season with salt and pepper as needed. Chop the iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.
  3. Assemble the Salad
Once the potatoes are baked, prepare 4 larger serving bowls. Place a handful of lettuce and chopped tomato in each bowl. Add baked potatoes, cooked meat and cover with sauce. If you want, you can sprinkle the salad with grated cheddar before serving.
